PUBLIC DRINKING WATER PROJECTS
Many people in rural areas have little access to treated safe drinking water and people resort to drinking water obtained directly from open wells, streams etc. and this often leads to water borne diseases.
We undertake projects to provide potable drinking water to small townships having population up to 100,000 people. The source of water can be underground water, springs, rivers, rain fed reservoirs etc.
Such projects include amalgamation of following activities –
· Collection & storage of raw water from source
· Water treatment to make it potable
· Water pumping stations
· Storage into overhead tanks
· Distribution to community and households
Water supply and distribution network needs to be designed keeping in view the water requirements, terrain and sewerage network of townships not only for present but for future as well.
